After dipping below a dollar a gallon, gasoline prices shot up dramatically this week across the state. State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz says the average price in Wisconsin jumped more than 50 cents a gallon this week. Jarmuscz says Wisconsin’s average price at the pump, $1.46 a gallon is still one of the least expensive in the country. Jarmuscz says as some states begin to reopen businesses, those states will likely see demand increase and pump prices will likely follow suit.
