The Fond du Lac County executive says the state Supreme Court ruling last week striking down the governor’s stay at home restrictions doesn’t mean we’re in the clear. The ruling means the state is essentially reopened ahead of the May 26 expiration date of governor Evers’ order. The county Public Health Officer last week rescinded a public health order that had closed certain businesses like barbershops and tattoo parlors and placed restrictions on restaurants. Fond du Lac County executive Al Buechel says we will have to see how this unfolds, but warns residents it doesn’t mean that we are in the clear. Buechel says residents still need to take this very seriously and realize it’s not over. Buechel says residents still need to take the precautions they have been taking since the outbreak began.
