Residents were evacuated following a gas main leak in Fond du Lac. Around 2pm Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Highway V and Fond du Lac Avenue where a construction crew building a roundabout accidentally struck a gas main. Alliant Energy was called to the scene and quickly secured the leak.
