Fond du Lac police are investigating a second shooting incident in less than 24 hours. Police responded Thursday morning to reports of gunshots fired on Bank Street between Main St and Marquette Ave. Police captain Jason Laridaen says the individuals involved in the incident fled the scene before officers arrived. Laridaen tells WFDL news at this point it does not appear that anyone was injured. Meanwhile, police continue to investigate a shooting incident Wednesday night that sent a Fond du Lac man to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The 20 year old Fond du Lac man was treated at the hospital for a gunshot wound to his leg. Laridaen says two people are in custody and additional arrests are expected.
