The Wisconsin AAA says the pandemic will suppress Memorial Day travel, but travelers are already planning future trips. State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz says for the first time in 20 years, AAA will not issue a Memorial Day travel forecast. Jarmuscz says traffic this holiday weekend is expected to be significantly less than the previous record for lowest travel volume at nearly 31 million travelers over the Memorial Day holiday In 2009. But Jarmuscz says there are indications that people will travel later this summer or at least before the end of the year.
