Nobody was injured when three kayaks overturned in the Fond du Lac River over the holiday weekend. Shortly after 1pm Monday the Sheriff’s office received a 911 call that a 30 year old Fond du Lac man man was kayaking with two 13 year old Fond du Lac kids on the river in the area of Forest Avenue Road, west of Fond du Lac when their kayaks overturned in turbulent water. The man made his way to shore and summoned help, while the kids continued down the river with their kayaks. North Fond du Lac Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene along with a DNR warden and sheriff’s deputies. Deputies made contact with the kids north of Rogersville Road on the bank of the river. They were wearing life jackets.
