Fond du Lac Public Works says motorists should be aware of a railroad crossing and street closure starting Monday. The Grove Street and Western Avenue railroad crossings will be closed beginning Monday, and remain closed through Saturday, June 6. The railroad crossings will be closed to allow Canadian National to make repairs at the railroad crossings. The signed detour in place will follow Hickory Street north to Forest Avenue east and Brooke Street south. Meanwhile the intersection at Seymour Street and Military Road is closed starting Monday for utility construction work. A signed detour will be in place utilizing Pioneer Road and Hickory Street. Patrons are encouraged to follow business signs directing them to the various businesses in the reconstruction area.
