Nobody was injured in a garage fire in Fond du Lac. At 9pm Sunday firefighters were called to 475 S. Military Road to find a small fire smoldering in the detached garage of the residence. The fire caused a minimal amount of damage to contents stored in the garage and the fire generated a large amount of smoke throughout the garage. There was no structural damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but appears to be accidental.
