Another Fond du Lac County resident has died from COVID-19. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says a Fond du Lac woman in her early 70s died over the weekend, bringing to six the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Fond du Lac County. Meanwhile, Mueller says there are now 240 positive COVID-19 cases in the county after ten new cases were reported over the weekend. That’s the fewest number of new cases reported in the past three weekends. Statewide the downward trend of positive tests by percentage of total tests within a 14 day period continues, while the number of recovered cases has increased slightly.
