The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she doesn’t know how the Fond du Lac County Fair can be held safely. The state Fair announced last week it was cancelling this summer’s Fair scheduled for late August. The Fond du Lac County Fair Board has not made a final decision on the county Fair scheduled for the middle of July. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says she doesn’t think it would be safe. “I really don’t think this pandemic is going to go away by June, by July, by August, by September,” Mueller told WFDL news. “To have any type of gathering that’s going to pull together large crowds such as our Fond du Lac County Fair would or any other county Fair would, that is very risky.”
