The Fond du Lac School Board will hold a special meeting Thursday to decide how to go about filling the superintendent’s position. Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert has been hired as superintendent in the Waukesha School District effective July first. Fond du Lac School Board vice president Mark Jurgella says the board will have to decide whether to begin the search now for a new superintendent or perhaps appoint an interim superintendent and begin the search later. Jurgella says at this point he’s not sure who is second in command in the district. Sebert is leaving after 11 years at the helm.
