The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she is concerned that more young people are contracting COVID-19. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the majority of positive COVID-19 cases in the past week have been in the 20 to 29 age group. “The majority of people we have been seeing over the past week are within the age range of 20 to 29,” Mueller told WFDL news. Mueller says more young people have been gathering together in groups, going back to their usual activities “without a care or worry in the world about the COVID virus.” Mueller says the recent spike also raises concerns with college students returning to the classroom this fall.
