The Dodge and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Offices are joining law enforcement agencies throughout Wisconsin for the annual Click it or Ticket seatbelt enforcement campaign. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says wearing a seatbelt is the most important thing you can do to prevent injury or death in a traffic crash. Tadych says currently, Wisconsin’s seat belt useage rate stands at 90 percent. Tadych says 44 percent of people killed in Wisconsin traffic crashes last year were not buckled up. The initiative started Monday and continues through July 5.
