The Fond du Lac School Board is expected to select a new member to the board during a special meeting Monday evening. The board is interviewing eight candidates who applied for the opening created by the resignation of board member Peggy Breister. Antonio Godfrey Sr, Ishamon Harris, Joe Guyette, Megan Stitt, Dr. Kay Miller, Sarah Tabassum, Mark Henschel and Jim Prosser have all applied for the seat. Prosser is a retired teacher, Harris ran unsuccessfully for the board in the spring election. Guyette led the unsuccessful effort to get an artificial turf field at Fond du lac High School last year and Miller serves on the Fond du lac city council. After interviewing the candidates the board will deliberate and make their selection.
