Fond du Lac residents continue to ask questions and express concerns about a proposed new Lakeside Park Master plan. About 60 people attended an information meeting on the plan and more than two dozen stayed for an Advisory Park Board meeting this week. Public Works director Jordan Skiff says there was a lot of concern by people attending the meetings about the location of a restaurant and history museum on the Lighthouse peninsula. Skiff says others voice concern about building and amphitheater and parking lot on Oven Island. Skiff says residents still have plenty of opportunity to comment on the issue. Skiff says a feasibility study including the estimated costs of the project are expected to be finalized by October.
