7-31-20 fdl county sheriff’s office won’t enforce mask mandate

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff says his office won’t be enforcing the governor’s mask mandate.   In a Facebook post, Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says the Sheriff’s Office does not have the resources or time to respond to complaints about people not wearing masks.   Waldschmidt says there are many legitimate reasons that people cannot safely wear masks, among other concerns he has with the order.  Waldschmidt is asking residents to not contact the Fond […]

AARP Wisconsin is encouraging older residents to vote absentee in the August primary and November presidential  elections.   AARP Wisconsin spokeswoman Lisa Lamkins says  the key is to start now and be prepared.  Lamkins says voters should plan so they are not caught off guard and miss key deadlines to submit their ballots.  Lamkins says you can also vote early in person at your municipal clerk’s office.
