The Fond du lac city council got it’s first look at a proposed Fire Department budget at their meeting this week. Fire Chief Pete O’Leary the budget includes an expansion of the department’s training room at Fire Station One. O’Leary says the budget also includes an ambulance replacement. O’Leary says the accredidation processs, which was postponed for next month due to the pandemic will take place next year. The council postponed further discussion on a public safety referendum until next year. A referendum would include six new firefighter-paramedics.
