The Fond du Lac Public Works director says he hopes a lot of questions and concerns will be answered when a feasibility study is completed on a new Lakeside Park master plan. The plan includes a restaurant on the lighthouse peninsula and amphitheater and parking lot on Oven Island. Jordan Skiff says it’s clear that in recent weeks public opposition toward the plan is growing. “In answer to your question, of course.” Skiff told WFDL news. “Certainly there has been a big surge in interest in this and it’s mostly swinging toward concerns about or opposition to the plan that’s been proposed.” Skiff says the city hopes to hire a consultant in the next week to conduct a feasibility study. A feasibility study with cost estimates is expected to be completed by October.
