Fond du Lac police do not suspect foul play in the death of a Fond du Lac man who was found on a sidewalk Thursday morning. Shortly after 5am Thursday police and rescue personnel were called to the area of South National Ave just north of the National Avenue Fire Station for a report of a male subject found lying unresponsive on the sidewalk. Officers arriving on the scene determined the subject was deceased. A preliminary investigation indicates no obvious signs of foul play. Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy and toxicology tests.
