Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies have been unusually busy this year responding to high speed chases. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says a little more than halfway through the year the county has already reached or topped the total number of chases in previous years. So far this year there have been 16 high speed chases in the county. That compares to eight in all of 2017, 18 in 2018 and 13 chases last year. Tadych says for whatever reason it seems that some people think they are not going to get chased.
