7-30-20 madison man arrested a half hour after release from dodge correctional institution

7-30-20 appleton man charged in fatal i-41 rollover crash in fdl county

An Appleton man has been charged in connection with a fatal alcohol-related rollover crash on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac County.   Twenty year old Samuel Coppersmith made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Wednesday on  nine counts including homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and homicide by negligient use of a motor vehicle.  Bail was set at $150,000 cash.  A preliminary hearing  is scheduled for August 7.   The […]

A Fond du Lac man is in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County this morning.  It started shortly after 4am when a sheriff’s deputy  attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway D in the town of Byron for a defective headlamp.  The vehicle increased its speed and continued north.
