The Fond du Lac County Clerk is urging voters to return their ballot today for next week’s August 11 primary, given high demand and possible mailing delays. Clerk Lisa Freiberg says while voters have until Thursday to request an absentee ballot, she wouldn’t wait until the last minute. “I strongly suggest you determine that today instead of Thursday,” Freiberg told WFDL news. The deadline to return the ballot is 8pm on the night of the election, August 11. As of Monday more than 330,000 completed ballots had been received out of the more than 821,000 sent to voters.
