The Fond du Lac County District Attorney is urging people not to rush to judgement following the police shooting of a black man in Kenosha last weekend.   Jacob Blake was paralyzed after he was shot seven times in the back as he was leaning into his car Sunday night.  District attorney Eric Toney says it becomes disheartening when people rush to judgement and assume what the facts are instead of waiting for the results of an independed investigation.   “This is another example where it’s important to wait until the facts come out, but at the same time people have anger and frustration and they should be able to demonstrate that in peaceful protests.  But never supporting violence, anarchy, arson and some of the things that we’ve seen in Kenosha,”  Toney told WFDL news.   Toney is critical of the governor’s initial statement, which Toney says “all but attempted to convict the officers involved, instead of waiting for the facts to come through and let the justice system run it’s course.”
