Four people were rescued after jumping in the water when a boat began taking on water on Lake Winnebago over the weekend.   The incident happened Saturday afternoon about a  mile northeast of the lighthouse.   A DNR Warden brought one subject in the water  on board their vessel.  The Sheriff’s Office Boat Patrol team rescued  three other occupants from the water.   Four other  occupants remained on the vessel in distress, which was towed back to the Fond du Lac Harbor.   The 18 foot Seadoo Challenger, operated by 50 year old Michael Jus of Fond du Lac, had taken on water due to heavy winds and waves in the area.   Four occupants panicked and jumped out of the boat in an attempt to keep it afloat.  Nobody was injured.
