8-3-20 johnson street-brick paver replacement project

Traffic will be restricted on a portion of Johnson Street in Fond du Lac for a few weeks starting Monday.    Public Works crews will be removing the brick pavers  in the crosswalks and replacing them with colored, stamped concrete on Johnson Street east of Main Street starting this week.    Construction barricades and barrels will be placed Sunday evening.   The project will begin on Johnson Street from Marquette Street to National Avenue and is scheduled […]

Local hospital officials say a mask mandate will help prevent spread of  the coronavirus.   Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam Chief Administrative Officer Angelia Foster reminds people that masks have been used in the medical profession for decades to protect patients.   Fond du Lac St. Agnes Hospital president  Katherine Vergos says the science shows that masks work.

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have arrested two boat operators on suspicion of operating while intoxicated after their boats collided on Lake Butte des Morts in Oshkosh.
