8-26-20 election security grant

The Fond du Lac County Clerk says she hopes new security upgrades can be made to the county’s  election system before the November election. The county is receiving just over $59,000 in grant money to enhance the county’s election security infrastructure.  County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says it seems that people trying to hack into Elections systems are always one step ahead, so nothing is fool proof.

8-26-20 bids for lakeside park pavilion renovation to be opened next month

Bids for a Lakeside Park pavilion renovation project are scheduled to be opened next month.  Public Works director Jordan Skiff told the Advisory Park Board Monday night that advertising for bids on the project started last week and are scheduled to be opened September 10.    Skiff says the city will accept the lowest qualified bid.  The cost estimate is $1.1 million.    The city is moving forward with renovating the […]

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee Public Schools has suspended the start of regular season fall sports indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. The district announced the decision Monday. 8-26-20 former green bay dance quad coach sentenced for stealing from team

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — The former dance team coach at a Green Bay high school accused of stealing money from the squad has been to three years of probation.  Brittany Rowell had paid back more than $7,400 for the thefts from Bay Port High School before Tuesday's sentencing.
