A longtime Fond du Lac County board supervisor and County Fair board member has died. George Stanchfield was 86. Stanchfield served on the county board from 1982 to 2002 and served as board chairman from 1993 to 2002. Stanchfield served on the Fair Board for 35 years as treasurer, manager and president.
