11-2-20 three more covid-19 deaths last week in fdl county

Fond du Lac County is closing in on 5,000 positive COVID-19 cases.   There were 149 positive cases confirmed Friday, bringing to 4,952,  the total number of cases in the county.  There were three more COVID-19 deaths in Fond du Lac County last week.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says 22 Fond du Lac County residents have died from COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

11-2-20 covid 19 cases continue to climb across the state

MADISON, Wi. (AP) — Wisconsin reported an all-time high for new coronavirus cases in a single day on Saturday as 5,278 people tested positive. Deaths from the virus also passed 2,000 as the Department of Health Services reported 59 more deaths, bringing the total to 2,031. The Hall of Fame cornerback Herb Adderley has died. His death was confirmed by the team Friday, with no details given. Adderley played on six NFL title teams over a 12-year career with Green Bay and Dallas. 10-31-20 illinois authorities extradite rittenhouse to wisconsin

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (AP) — Illinois authorities have extradited a 17-year-old accused of killing two demonstrators in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Christopher Covelli, a spokesman for Illinois’ Lake County Sheriff’s Office, told The Associated Press that deputies picked up Kyle Rittenhouse immediately after Judge Paul Novak issued the ruling at the courthouse in Waukegan. 10-31-20 fire causes minor damage to fdl home

Nobody was injured in a fire that caused minor damage to a Fond du lac home.  Shortly before 3:30pm Friday firefighters were called to 156 South Seymour Street to find a second floor bedroom on fire.  The fire was quickly extinguished and the house was ventilated to remove the smoke.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.  Damage was isolated to personal property and the residents were able to still occupy […]

10-31-20 dodge county sheriff’s office looking for huber inmate walkaway

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Huber inmate walkaway.   The Sheriff’s office says Robert Lee Haley  failed to return to the jail as required after a pre-approved medical appointment.   Haley does have a previous address in Beaver Dam.  He  was serving a ninemonth Huber sentence at the Dodge County Jail for a sexual assault related crime.  Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked  to contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at […]
