10-15-20 fdl county public health officer disappointed with restraining order over governor’s emergency order

The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer is disappointed at a judge’s decision this week to issue a temporary restraining order halting  governor Tony Evers’ emergency order that limited public gatherings.   The Sawyer County judge entered the order after the Tavern League of Wisconsin filed a lawsuit seeking to block the emergency order as the state deals with a COVID-19 outbreak.  Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says limiting the amount of people in a building will help as the state deals with a COVID-19 outbreak.  In addition to hundreds of positive cases, there have been three COVID deaths reported in Fond  du Lac County this week.
