The Fond du Lac County executive is reacting to a temporary restraining order halting the governor’s emergency order that limited public gatherings as the state deals with a COVID-19 outbreak. Al Buechel says his reaction is not one of surprise anymore. “The fact that there are people who have no alternative answers other than to do nothing,” Buechel told WFDL news. “I understand the impact on business but I wish someone would come up with alternatives. If they have all the answers please come forward with those.” Buechel says he still hears from people who say the virus isn’t real. “My daughter was in the hospital for a week. She still can’t go back to work almost four months later because she can’t get energy levels back up. I mean this thing is real.”
