The Fond du Lac County Health Department’s COVID-19 database won’t be updated this weekend as the computer system gets an upgrade. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says during the maintenance the health department will not be getting any positive or negative test results into the system. Mueller says health departments across the state use what’s called the Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System. The system will go down for maintenance Friday afternoon, with the hope of bringing the system back online by Sunday evening or Monday morning. Mueller says the process of getting phone calls from the COVID clinic or National Guard on positive or negative test results won’t change during the maintenance.
