The local unemployment rates continue to fall in Wisconsin. In Dodge County the unemployment rate dropped from five percent to 3.7 percent. The city of Fond du Lac’s jobless rate in September was 3.9 percent, down from 5.4 percent in August. The Fond du lac County rate fell from 4.7 percent in August to 3.5 percent last month. The Fond du Lac jobless rate was 3.4 percent in February and 2.9 percent in March before the pandemic hit. It skyrocketed to a high of 18.2 percent in April.
