As the number of coronavirus cases continues to climb in Fond du Lac County so do the number of active cases. For the first time since the pandemic began Fond du Lac County topped 1,000 daily active cases last week. Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says when you get over 500 positive cases in a week and people are being identified more quickly, there are going to be a lot of active cases at one time. Mueller says it means there is a lot of disease that is out there and that is circulating.
