Preliminary findings from a market feasibility study indicate there appears to be a market for a restaurant and amphitheater at Fond du Lac’s Lakeside Park. Public Works director Jordan Skiff told WFDL news the consultant has been pretty encouraging that there seems to be a market for those items. Skiff says the consultant also cautions that how a restaurant agreement is structured, and how an amphitheater is managed makes all the difference. Skiff says the other unknown factor that could impact the alternative plan is a lawsuit that has been filed against the city by a citizens group opposed to the plan. The Fond du Lac city council will discuss the study at their meeting Wednesday.
