Construction is underway on the renovation of the Fond du Lac Lakeside Park pavilion and already some structural problems with the building have been discovered. Public Works director Jordan Skiff told WFDL news demolition work in the kitchen area found that some of the studs were rotten and will need to be replaced, as well as problems under the floor tile. Skiff says it’s uncertain how much the problems will add to the overall project cost. Skiff says work will continue through the winter. He says the project is scheduled to be completed by June 1.
