The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer that first small batch of a coronavirus vaccine that was expected to be received by Wisconsin counties by the end of the month has been delayed slightly. Kim Mueller says state Health Department officials said in a conference call this week that hospitals can expect to get very small doses of a vaccine closer to January. Mueller says this first vaccine will not be available to the general public, but instead, would most likely go directly to hospitals. Mueller says the hope is that a vaccine could be distributed to the general public starting sometime in April.
