MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin has set another record for coronavirus deaths. The state Department of Health Services reported Tuesday that the virus was a factor in another 104 deaths. 11-25-20 another covid-19 death in fdl county

Another COVID-19 death has been reported in Fond du Lac County.  After six deaths were reported on Monday, another death was reported Tuesday, bringing to 43 the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the county.   The total number of confirmed cases has topped 8,000 with 63 new cases on Tuesday.

(AP) — Nearly 400 absentee ballots cast in Milwaukee that weren't opened on Election Day have been discovered as part of a recount and the city's top elections official attributes the mistake to human error. 11-24-20 west bend city official dies in hunting accident

WASHINGTON ISLAND, Wis. (AP) — A city official in West Bend died in a hunting accident after apparently shooting himself during the weekend opener of the gun-deer season. 11-24-20 oakfield man injured after falling from tree stand

An Oakfield man received non life-threatening injuries after falling out of a tree standing while hunting near the Zillmer trail in southeast Fond du Lac County.  The 40 year old man was able to use his cell phone to call 911 and direct DNR wardens and first responders to his location after falling approximately 35 feet .  He was flown by helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee with  non-life threatening injuries.

11-14-20 six covid-19 deaths reported monday in fdl county

Fond du Lac County has experienced the largest one day death toll since the start of the pandemic.   The Fond du Lac County  Health Department reported six deaths Monday bringing to 42 the total number of deaths in the county.   Two males, ages 85 and 75,  and four females, ages 71, 80, 86 and 75 died from COVID-19 in Fond du Lac County.  There were 176 new cases Monday bringing to 7,963 the total number […]
