The Christmas holiday will be made a little brighter for several Fond du lac County children thanks to the annual Fond du Lac County Shop with a Cop program. This year, due to the pandemic, local law enforcement officers went shopping for gifts at Walmart last Thursday evening and will deliver those gifts to kids over the next couple of weeks. Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says kid’s worlds have been turned upside down this year, and the program is one way to try to return some level of normalcy to their lives.
