The Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer says she supports the governor’s call for more federal money to help fight the coronavirus pandemic. Governor Tony Evers is telling president Donald Trump and Wisconsin’s congressional delegation that Wisconsin needs $466 million by April to pay for vaccine distribution, testing, contact tracing, hospitals and a public health awareness campaign. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says more money is needed. “Absolutely we need it,” Mueller told WFDL news. “I know the amount we’ve gotten this year, I know the amount we have allocated for next year and the year after and we definately need more.”
