Christmas will be made brighter for more than 1700 Fond du Lac area children thanks to the Salvation Army and generous community donations. The Salvation Army held it’s annual Christmas toy distribution this week at the Fond du Lac County Expo Building, with a drive-through giveaway this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Salvation Army Major Jon Welch says he’s amazed by the number of people who stepped up to help donate toys to kids who otherwise might not have anything under the Christmas tree.
