Applications are coming in for the Fond du Lac School superintendent’s position. Interim superintendent Sharon Simon says more than 800 people participated in an online survey asking what qualities they would like to see in the next superintendent. Simon says a consultant is expected to forward a slate of candidates to the school board in a little more than a month. Simon says the goal is to hire a superintendent in May with that person starting July 1.
