Firefighters and rescue personnel are on the scene of an explosion and fire at a residence on Highway 23 near the Fond du Lac-Sheboygan County line. Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says it appears there may have been explosion in an attached garage that started the fire that quickly spread to the house. That portion of Highway 23 has been closed and a traffic detour has been set up. The call came in around 3pm Monday. No word if anybody was hurt.
