Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a garage in Fond du lac Friday afternoon. Shortly after 2pm firefighters were called to a report of a garage fire on East 12th Street between Marr and Main Streets. Fire chief Pete O’Leary says power lines in the area made it difficult for crews, and Alliant Energy had to cut power to the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
