A propane torpedo heater appears to be the cause of a fire that destroyed a garage in Fond du lac last week. Firefighters were called to the scene on East 12th Street between Marr and Main Streets Friday afternoon. Fire chief Pete O’Leary says the fire does not appear to be suspicious. O’Leary says the bitter cold makes it difficult for firefighters. Nobody was injured in the fire.
