Gas prices continue to increase in Wisconsin, but how high will they go? in Wisconsin the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular is $2.64 cents. State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmusz says that’s up about 30 cents from the beginning of February. Jarmusz says while gas prices tend to start rising this time of year, the rapid increase is unusual. Jarmusz says the good news is gas prices increased only a penny, on average, over the last week. Jarmusz says barring hurricane season, March may bring the most expensive pump prices of 2021. He says by the end of the month there could be some relief at the pumps as refineries resume normal operations, especially if crude oil prices show signs of stability.
