Governor Tony Evers has announced the appointment of Fond du Lac attorney Paul Czisny to the Fond du Lac County Circuit Court. Czisny will fill a vacancy created by Judge Robert Wirtz’s retirement, effective May 2. Evers says Czisny will bring compassion, fairness, and a deep knowledge of the law to the bench. Czisny is a criminal defense attorney and currently runs his own law firm. Before that he was a state public defender for 20 years. Czisny also chairs the city of Fond du Lac Ethics Board.
