Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a pole shed in Fond du lac County. Late Friday afternoon firefighters from several departments were called to the scene on Highway 26 in the town of Springvale to find a pole shed on fire. The shed contained two hay wagons and a corn planter, which were also destroyed in the fire. The fire accidentally started when the homeowner was burning grass along the exterior of the structure which then spread to the pole shed. The property belongs to David Duve of Rosendale. Fire Departments from Lamartine, Eldorado, and Brandon-Fairwater assisted at the scene. Traffic on STH 26 was able to remain open in both directions.
