As the number of positive COVID-19 cases in Fond du Lac continue to drop, and more people get vaccinated, the positive outlook among local business owners continues to climb. Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership director Amy Hansen says the outlook is more happy, brighter and positive a little more than a year after the pandemic started. While residents have been supporting restaurants with take out orders during the pandemic Hansen says more recently restaurant owners have told her they have noticed an increased number of sit-down diners.
