A National Weather Service meteorologist says overall this has been a mild winter in Wisconsin. Meteorologist Marcia Cronce says aside from the bitter cold temperatures toward the end of February, it’s been a great winter. “As a Wisconsin resident I’d say we escaped, and had a great winter,’ Cronce told WFDL news. “We had a mild early part of winter. We had one big cold snap.” The first official day of spring is Saturday and Cronce says it’s shaping up to be a great weekend.
