A Theresa man charged in connection with a fatal traffic crash has waived his preliminary hearing. Twenty eight year old David Worley was bound over for trial on three counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. Worley was the driver of a car that collided with an ambulance after running a red light at the intersection of Johnson and Main Streets in Fond du Lac last September 15. A passenger in Worley’s car, a 21 year old Fond du Lac man, was killed in the crash. Two paramedics and a patient in the ambulance received minor injuries. According to a criminal complaint Worley had been drinking prior to the crash and had a blood-alcohol level of .213 percent. According to investigators Worley told investigators he did not remember the crash.
